Blood and Circulation Module
10.02.2014 (Monday) – 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

A 60 year old man with a past history of hypertension and dyslipidaemia is admitted with severe central chest pain that radiates to left arm, for six hours.  The ECG shows ST segment depression in antero-lateral leads.  The blood test for cardiac troponin-I is positive. 

  1. List the drugs that can be used in the management of this patient.

  2. Explain the pharmacological basis of the use of each drug.
